We did it and got as far I could safely in my Nike sneakers. My hiking shoes are coming two weeks from now. It was a really good hike and so glad we did it. Got out relatively early and intended to hike the Got out relatively early and intended to hike the trail around the Basin but instead ended up on the FNBP walking path. We got over 3.7 miles in. It’s wonderfully not too humid up here and definitely cooler. As long as we were close to the river, the water temp was like natural air conditioning.

We left the state! For a few days. We dropped off We left the state! For a few days. We dropped off @katiedid1025 with @myraevilstreaks as they venture off to visit Lisa. We then headed north to the mountains. We had been in the car for 4.5 hours and went straight to trail head to take a fast paced walk for 3.8 miles. We didn’t make it Franconia Falls but another day we will. Then we checked in and got our few groceries, ate our healthy dinner and then used the pool for while. If you follow me (Diana) on my Apple Watch you’ll know I made several accomplishments today. Looking forward to three more days of walking/hiking.
Weekends are for walking. Or so that’s how thing Weekends are for walking. Or so that’s how things have been working out 😉 pun intended. Trying to up the mileage and starting to see results in both clothing fit and the scale. 21 days so far of walking every day. Now to keep it going.
We’re trying to do longer walks on the weekend. We’re trying to do longer walks on the weekend. We headed over to Steep Rock for a good walk. It was nice to see lots of horseback riders out. We counted 8 or 9. Only two were riding English, everyone else was riding Western. I really miss my days of riding and am hopeful that will be in my future. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

We got out and moved our bodies today even though the humidity was intense and the bugs were in full force.

The Apple Watch I’d still consider one of my best purchases in the last 10 years. Hope everyone has been able to take today as a holiday, enjoy the outdoors and relax.
