so bad, it made me laugh: stackthememory.com. Have to agree with Tina, this was so bad it’s funny. Office Space certainly has inspired lots of people. (Via swissmiss.)

Barack is Mac, and Pac?

Barack is Mac, and Pac? Apparently, America’s president-elect is a Mac user, a Pac Man fan, and likes sticking stickers on one’s laptop. I really dig the pac-man eating the Apple logo. Is that a Speck clear MacBook cover? Commenters: let the Apple/Obama fanboy flamewars fly! Incidentally, he also uses a Crackberry. And Biden is…

A small audience at the Lincoln Memorial

A small audience at the Lincoln Memorial: “ When it looked as though Obama was going to win the election, former photojournalist Matt Mendelsohn went to the Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC expecting to find a huge crowd of celebrants. I’d spent most of election night in front of the TV in Arlington, Va. But…

Horses at Work and Play

I love The Big Picture blog over at Boston.com and recently they had “Horses at Work and Play“. I rode horses when I was younger and miss it to this day, it’s one of my goals, to get back to riding.

My Day, Yesterday

My Day, Yesterday Originally uploaded by criana This was a lot of fun to do. I started with 15m 15s total, it was hard to get down to 90s. I thought my hair dryer broke but it was just the outlets in the bathroom. I had a doctor’s visit mid-morning and then my Mom came…

Flashback Tuesday (on Wednesday)

I was going through my photos trying to find one for Flashback Tuesday on Flickr. I don’t think I had shared this one before. I was 14 here and eaten alive by mosquitos, this was the end of 2 weeks on Outward Bound via their Hurricane Island School in Maine. My middle school years were…

The colors have come and gone

I typically host a fall foliage tour every year, I’ve been doing this since 2002. I love the fall season and I enjoy showing people around the New England area. This year got quite hectic and then couple it with bad fall allergies, I ended up resting and sneezing during October. Last years tour we…

Creating Soft Light

[vimeo]http://www.vimeo.com/1892947[/vimeo] Found this via MostlyLisa’s site. I’ve been toying with the idea of buying a strobe and umbrella, along with a diffuser. Last weekend I saw a photographer and assistant up at Topsmead using I think a reflector working with kids. I found this video to be really helpful in explaining how to use a…

Yahooo-ooooooo

Funny story around this button. At my work we had a bell at the front desk, about a week after it was placed there it “walked”, and considering how small the company is, it walked out the door. My bet is on the disgruntled FedEx guy. The bell was replaced with a Yahoo button. So…

Back in the Darkroom

This weekend I was back in the darkroom. I’m still amazed at how much I love printing black and white photos. I’ve started experimenting the 4 blade enlarging easel to create square prints and borders. More and more ideas keep popping into my mind of prints I want to try.

Mystery of Iceland

Tim Gasperak’s Mystery of Iceland photo collection. Iceland is on my wishlist of places to visit. The waters and landscapes look amazing, along with their long history of keeping the Icelandic horse breed pure. [via Richard’s Notes]

Honda CR-V Ice Day

This is awesome! I so want to go do that. We’ve done some spins and I’ve gone out on my own and gotten the snow flying. I really should move to some much more northern country, I love to go play in the snow in the car and just myself.
