Looking Forward to Spring

This was taken in June of 07 in Cape Cod. I cannot wait for spring this year, to get out on my bike. 2008 I don’t know even know what to say. I didn’t do anything physical just worked and slept. I am determined to not start my 30’s being the inactive person I’ve been of my 20’s. I really enjoyed our bike trip that June. I had never been to Cape Cod and I was looking at everything with a fresh set of eyes. Maybe this time we’ll go for longer than 2 days.

Sailing Around the World

If you’re a fan of the open ocean and classic ships, this set up of photos from The Big Picture will make you smile. The first photo in the set is just amazing. http://www.boston.com/bigpicture/2009/01/sailing_around_the_world.html

This was on Wednesday during the ice storm. The one thing I don’t have yet for my Canon XTi is a macro lense. In the meantime I’ve been using my Canon SD550 and it’s macro mode. I really enjoy shooting branches covered in ice. There’s something magical about it, to me.

Photographing Lincoln

I had the opportunity to meet the newest family member to my in-laws. Lincoln would be my niece-in-law. The lighting was perfect, afternoon sun through a big bay window with sheers, making for perfect diffused light. I am not a big gushing baby person, but I love capturing their expressions. They are the perfect photography subject since words will not define what they are thinking and feeling.

Happy New Years

I want to wish everyone a very happy new years. Wishing everyone much prosperity, health and happiness. May you look at the world through new eyes and be inspired by everything you see and encounter. There is always something new to learn, everyday. Peace and Love for the new year, Diana
