I love the acronym for CRAP. Must post that somewhere.
I love the look these berries had when coated in ice.
This was on Wednesday during the ice storm. The one thing I don’t have yet for my Canon XTi is a macro lense. In the meantime I’ve been using my Canon SD550 and it’s macro mode. I really enjoy shooting branches covered in ice. There’s something magical about it, to me.
I shot this photo with a Canon SD550 after the ice storm we had earlier this week. I loved how the sun shining on the ice coated on the trees. I did do post process work in Adobe Lightroom 2. I used the selenium process option along with a light vignette.
quiet storm – from my rooftop, originally uploaded by Kaká. This is just absolutely amazing. I love storm cloud photos.

I had the opportunity to meet the newest family member to my in-laws. Lincoln would be my niece-in-law. The lighting was perfect, afternoon sun through a big bay window with sheers, making for perfect diffused light. I am not a big gushing baby person, but I love capturing their expressions. They are the perfect photography subject since words will not define what they are thinking and feeling.
So I’m sure you’ve heard about the Russian professor who’s theorizing the breakup of the United States. This is the first time I’ve seen a proposed map. I’m mostly laughing at this. South Carolina with the original colonies and not the south? Really? http://www.boingboing.net/2009/01/02/the-breakup-of-the-u.html One thing did catch my attention and I’d like to research more…”no US president has ever died under the same flag that he was born under.” I say we go colonize the Moon and it will be a win-win situation 😉 On a serious note, any one have any thoughts on all this.
