Weekly Weight In: Week 1

I’m putting this down as week 1 since, this is really the first official committment I’m making to logging this every week, and with that here we go.

A brief over view, I’m on the rebound from injuring my back, so intense exercise was out. Just in the past 2-3 weeks I’ve been able to start exercising more intensely. Between being tight on money and really tired, we haven’t been eating the best things. We try to make sure we get a salad each night and get some meat in.

This week I bought some strawberries, even though they’re not organic. I needed something other than Apples and Bananas to go with some cottage cheese. I also started making spinach and egg omlettes again, which I do use organic baby spinach and organic eggs.

Down to the knitty gritty.

This week’s weigh in: 216.5 lbs.

For next week I’d like to see 214 on the scale. I’m going to prepare lunches and breakfast ahead of time this weekend. I’m also going to make sure we use the frozen veggies I bought a week ago. Our dinners tend to be a protein and a starch, and possibly a salad.
