Welcome to Couch Cam. I’m trying out some new software from Evological, called EvoCam. It’s using my Apple iSight to broadcast an image every-time their is movement. I set the camera up facing the couch, a bit safer than straight back which would have been the bedroom. Most of the time, or at least I’m hoping, you’ll find Melody. Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s you might find Craig. Should be interesting. You can find Couch Cam in the right hand side bar. Click the photo to see a larger version. Enjoy!
I was introduced to this song today. It has some points that are worth thinking on. Even if you don’t agree with it, read it and try to understand what he is saying. If your first reaction is anger, then leave and come back and re-read it. If we seek solace in the prisons of the distant past Security in human systems we’re told will always, always last Emotions are the sail and blind faith is the mast Without the breath of real freedom we’re getting nowhere fast If God is dead and an actor plays his part His words of fear will find a place in your heart Without the voice of reason every faith is its own curse Without freedom from the past things can only get worse Sooner or later just like the world first day Sooner […]
Yesterday I was filling up gas, and at the pump on the other side of the island was a Mercedes E-class, brand spanking new. It was filled with 5 people all dressed very well in suits and professional attire. One of the guys came back from paying for gas and I heard him say “Man I love this area”, which I then thought, ok you obviously don’t live here. LOL. So I’m leaning against my car, pumping my gas and one of the other people comes over and says, “Do you have any kids, because you might want them to read this”. I said “No, I don’t have any kids”. Then he said “How about this, it’s about what science says about god”. I graciously said, “No, but thank you for offering”. He was very nice and thanked me for […]
Last night we drove up to Tanglewood to see Beethoven’s 8th Symphony performed by the Boston Symphony Orchestra. The weather held out wonderfully. The only bad thing was we forgot to bring bug spray. We set our blanket and chair and enjoyed a great show. For $16.00 a ticket you can’t beat it. You get to relax, listen to wonderful music in an absolutely beautiful setting.
For the 4th of July weekend, we were invited down to Virginia to celebrate my cousin Will’s graduation from High School. btw Will CONGRATS! We had a wonderful weekend. My Aunt and Uncle kindly enough provided hospitality for us and were gracious hosts. We drove down Friday night after work. Didn’t hit much traffic. I went to use my trusty cell phone with my laptop and it wouldn’t work. Tried calling Cingular but of course my call dropped and I lost coverage. So we arrived around 11:30 and packed it into our bedrooms. Saturday we went out and picked up the grandma and also got some foods for the party. The graduation party was great, Will made out very well. We had a really great time. Sunday, we got up and drove down to Fredericksburg to meet up with Majomortensen. […]
